PURPOSE/GOAL
- State of Perak
Islamic Religious Department to build a knowledgeable, prayerful,
competitive and pious individual, who understands and makes Islam a
way of life established on the Al-Quran and As Sunnah to achieve
Duniawi and Ukhrawi contentment.
- To create a balanced
individual from aspects of ilmiah, spiritual, physical and emotional,
who is competitive, creative and innovative towards excellence.

To prevent aggression
activities through efforts of enforcement and
information of Syariah
laws.

To increase research and analysis efforts with the
existence of the Information Centre.

To increase the understanding and the practice of
Islam amongst the community through propagation,
knowledge appreciation, welfare activities and to
upgrade religious institutions such as mosques and surau.

To increase the quality of services, human
development, instilling harmony and cheer within the department, to
upgrade and oversee financial management with prudence and to monitor
physical development projects.
