First of
all, allow me to thank the Perak Islamic Religious Department (JAIPk) for
giving me this opportunity to record a few words in conjunction with the
publication of the first edition of Perak Halal Directory for the year
2006/2007.
I am delighted to congratulate
the Perak Islamic Religious Department for their persistence in publishing
this Perak Halal Directory. This pure effort is greatly appreciated and
highly
regarded.
With the
publication of this book, it will be a platform for industries and
manufacturers who possess the Perak state halal certification especially the
agro-based industry to promote Perak's agricultural product and
merchandise that increases its output from time to time. This gives an
opportunity to forge a networking relationship between local and
international entrepreneurs.
The state
government is also grateful to JAIPk for exposing the tourism space in the
first edition that will assist in introducing Perak at international level
in its own way. This publication also gives the opportunity to Muslim
tourists to choose without hesitating their accommodation and to feast on
the variety of food that Perak is deniably famous for.
It is hoped
that this pure efforts will continue in times to come to assist in
making the tourism and agro-based industry in Perak a success.
